Your kitchen already runs on Fresh KDS Premium or Unlimited. Then the tracker is the natural add-on: your line is already working in their system, and the customer screen follows from the work your staff are doing anyway.
You want the pickup screen without adopting a kitchen display system. Many made-to-order counters work from the register and a ticket rail rather than a KDS. Does Pickup Signal require a kitchen display system?
No. Pickup Signal is only the customer-facing layer. Eligible Square orders can appear automatically, or staff add exceptions manually. No KDS, no new kitchen workflow, no tablet on the line.
What hardware does Pickup Signal need?
Any TV with a web browser (most smart TVs qualify) or any cheap HDMI stick for TVs without one. Open pickupsignal.com/tv, type the six-character code, and it's paired. See the device guide.
How much does Fresh KDS Order Tracker cost?
As published on fresh.technology on July 28, 2026: the tracker requires Fresh KDS Premium ($25 per screen monthly, $20 annual) or Unlimited ($109 per location monthly), plus an Amazon Fire TV Stick. Their pricing has shifted before, so verify on their site.
Can Pickup Signal run more than one screen per shop?
Yes. Unlimited screens are included at $19.99 per location. A common setup is two TVs: one showing orders being made, one showing orders ready for pickup, assigned and swapped from the dashboard.
