Straight answers
It's one button, and it replaces something they already do — answering that question out loud all shift. If a maker forgets, the drink just stays shown as in progress.
Any TV with a browser, or an iPad you've got in a drawer. If your TV can't do it, a $35 streaming stick can — we'll tell you exactly what to buy first.
You can still run Pickup Signal today — staff add orders in two taps on the same page they already use to mark drinks ready. Square is the register we connect to automatically so far, and we're actively building the next ones. Tell us what you run and we'll put it at the front of the queue.
It started in boba, and boba shops are still who we know best. But the board works anywhere orders are made while people wait — coffee, smoothies, açaí, bakery pickup. If your counter gets asked “is mine ready?”, it fits.
Neither. It's the customer-facing layer beside them — the only thing that changes is that the line can see where its orders are.
Names stay in Ready until collected. Sit too long and an order moves to “please see staff” rather than vanishing — on a timer you set, or off entirely.
First name and last initial with the order number — “Tien T. · #47” — or just the number. Nothing else ever reaches the screen.
The board turns off. No export to chase, and your Square account is untouched. During the trial there's no card on file to cancel.
