How it connects

In your Pickup Signal dashboard, open Order sources and choose Clover. Make an API token in your Clover dashboard, paste it with your Clover web address, and ring up a test order. It shows up within about a minute, and edits and deletes follow.

What your staff do

One tap when an order is ready. Phone orders and exceptions take two seconds to add by hand. Your name and colors on the wall, waits if you want them, forgotten orders expire to “please see staff”.

Does Clover make a customer-facing order status screen?

Not for ordinary merchants. As of July 28, 2026, Clover’s customer-facing platform is a tethered pay screen, and App Market order-status apps are kitchen displays and SMS tools. The only true Clover status board is in Clover Sport, the stadium product.

Does Pickup Signal connect to Clover automatically?

Yes. Make an API token in your Clover dashboard and paste it into Order sources. Pickup Signal checks Clover every minute, so new orders reach the board within about a minute, and edits and deletes follow.

What does staff entry look like during a rush?

The staff page runs on any phone or tablet behind the counter: type the name or number, tap Add, and it’s on the wall under Now making. When it’s ready, one tap.

What hardware does Pickup Signal need in a Clover shop?

None from Clover. Any TV with a browser, or a cheap HDMI stick, opens pickupsignal.com/tv, shows a six-character code, and the board is paired.
