Clover + Pickup Signal
Short answer, verified against Clover's own App Market and developer documentation on July 28, 2026: no. Clover's customer-facing display is a payment screen, the App Market's order-status apps are kitchen displays and SMS tools, and the one real Clover order status board lives in Clover Sport — their stadium product. Here's what we found, and what a Clover shop can actually put on the wall.
What exists
| Option | What it actually is | Customer-facing pickup board? |
|---|---|---|
| Clover's customer-facing platform | The tethered pay screen — Welcome, Display Order and Thank You states during checkout | No — it faces the customer who is paying, not the crowd waiting |
| Clover App Market | Searches for "order status", "order ready display" and "pickup screen" return kitchen displays, SMS notification apps, kiosks and pay displays | No — nothing customer-watched was listed |
| Clover Sport Order Status Boards | A real In Preparation / Ready for Pickup board — inside the stadium and venue product, with Expeditor Mode | Yes, but it isn't sold to ordinary shops and has no published price |
| Pickup Signal | A branded pickup board on any TV with a browser — staff add orders in two taps from the register they already use, customers watch names move from Now making to Ready | Yes — that's the whole product |

The honest read
Staff-driven, not synced. Pickup Signal's automatic order feed is Square-first; on Clover, your staff add each order with two taps on the barista page — name, add — and tap Ready when it's done. Names and branding on the wall, an estimated wait if you want one, forgotten orders that expire to "please see staff." What it isn't, yet, is plugged into your Clover register.
The manual number boards a Clover shop would otherwise buy are also typed in by hand — and show numbers on a generic screen instead of your shop's name and colours with the customer's own name moving to Ready. Two taps is the same work either way; what the customer sees is not.
Questions
Not for ordinary restaurant merchants. As of July 28, 2026, Clover's customer-facing platform is a tethered pay screen, and App Market searches for order-status products return kitchen displays and SMS tools. The only true Clover status board is in Clover Sport, the stadium and venue product.
Not today — automatic order sync is Square-first. On Clover, staff add each order with two taps on the barista page. If that changes, this page will say so; we'd rather be plain about it than surprise you after signup.
The barista page runs on any phone or tablet behind the bar: type the name (or number), tap add — the order is on the wall under Now making. When the drink's sealed, one tap moves it to Ready with an optional ding.
None from Clover. Any TV with a web browser — or any cheap HDMI stick — opens pickupsignal.com/tv, shows a six-letter code, and the board is paired. See the device guide.
